More Conference Hotel Information

Two Ways to Make Reservations: REMEMBER TO WAIT UNTIL FEB. 1st TO MAKE RESERVATION(S)

Be sure to have attendees mention the group code HOT in order to receive the discounted group rate when they call in

On the first screen, input the arrival and departure dates, then click on the GO button
Once you are taken to the second screen, this is where guests complete the reservations details (including stay information and room type preferences.
After completing the Stay Information and Room Type Preferences sections, scroll down to the Special Accounts section. Then click on the CONTINUE button.
Now guests can select the room they prefer (Double-Queen or King) at the group rate and complete their reservation.

Cutoff Date:

Please remind your attendees that all reservations must be made July 8, 2012, in order to receive the discounted group rate. The hotel will continue to accept reservations from Group’s attendees after that date; however, rooms will be at the prevailing rate and subject to availability.

2012 Conferance Information

The Louisiana State Firemen's Association is proud to announce that the 107th Annual Conferance will be held in Shreveport LA. August 9th, 10th and 11th 2012.The host Hotel is the Shreveport Hilton. The Shreveport Convention Center is attached to the hotel and all events will be held inside. The 2nd Hotel is Sam's Town approxmalty three blocks away.

You may start making your room reservations on Feburary 1st. 2012. No reservations will be accepted before that date.

Start F.D. member receives Scholarship Check

A check was delivered from the LSFA to Ramona Richmond in the amount of $8,000.00. She has been with the Start Fire Department as a volunteer since June of 2007. Ramona is certified Haz-Mat Awareness, Haz-Mat Operations and Fire Fighter I. She will have her bachelors in nursing from University Of La. At Monroe in May 2012. She was granted $16,000.00 from the LSFA

There will be a meeting with Mr. Donahue, new director of LSU FETI, on December 12, 2012 at Iberia Fire District #1. The meeting will begin at 10 AM. The meeting is to address the issues in Region 1 of LSU FETI. If you have any questions or plan on attending the meeting please contact me.
